Interactive Learning Sessions

The Clark County School District may be starting its year in a distance learning format, but the doors of DISCOVERY are wide open. And we are doing everything we can to keep your kids safe while also continuing to offer them access to the hands-on learning they can only get in person.

That’s why, beginning September 2nd, DISCOVERY Children’s Museum will be hosting 4-week-long Interactive Learning Sessions right here at the Museum!

Class Schedule:

Wednesdays (Sept. 2, 9, 16 & 23): 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Maker Studio
(Ages 8-9) Maximum Registration: 10
Class Description: Discover your inner designer, tinkerer and engineer through this hands-on STEM based class designed for children ages 8 and 9.

Thursdays (Sept. 3, 10, 17 & 24): 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Biology Lab
(Ages 6-7) Maximum Registration: 10
Class Description: Explore the fundamentals of life science by investigating animal and plant kingdoms in Biology Lab, an engaging course designed for junior biologists ages 6 and 7.

Fridays (Sept. 4, 11, 18 & 25): 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Cad Class
(Ages 10-11) Maximum Registration: 8
Class Description: Apply the steps of the design-thinking process to build 3D-printed inventions and create original designs in TinkerCAD during this interactive course designed for children ages 10 – 11.

Prices:

General Admission: $100 for all four sessions
Museums for All Admission*: $25 for all four sessions
