DISCOVERY CEO Receives “Executive of the Year” Award

We are so proud to announce that Melissa Kaiser, our CEO, has been named Executive of the Year by the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce!

She received the honor on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, during the Vegas Chamber’s Business of the Year Awards.

Melissa was recognized for offering outstanding leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic and understanding that her employees are the Museum’s greatest asset. When DISCOVERY was forced to temporarily shut its doors due to COVID, she ensured not a single employee was let go.

Melissa works tirelessly to provide access to quality STEAM educational experiences to as many children as possible in the Southern Nevada community, and spearheaded the creation of the Museum’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Advisory Council.
