Discovery Children’s Museum Welcomes Melissa D. Kaiser As New Chief Executive Officer

Las Vegas – May 10, 2018 – DISCOVERY Children’s Museum welcomes Melissa Kaiser as the new chief executive officer as of May 7, 2018. Kaiser comes to DISCOVERY and Las Vegas from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (PAFA), where she served as the executive vice president of development.

Kaiser has over 20 years of professional fundraising experience, with strengths in major and planned solicitations, capital campaigns, strategic planning and management. Prior to her role at PAFA, Kaiser served as the senior director of development at Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, where she helped a highly successful major gifts program launch the first endowment campaign in the organization’s history. Kaiser is joining her husband, Roy Kaiser, in Las Vegas as he begins his new role as Artistic Director of Nevada Ballet Theatre.
