DISCOVERY Children’s Museum Welcomes New Leadership
DISCOVERY Children’s Museum is entering an exciting new chapter — and we couldn’t be more proud to introduce the incredible people stepping up to lead it. From the boardroom to the development office, our organization is stronger than ever, and that starts with the people at the helm.
We’re thrilled to introduce our new leadership team.
Laura Christian
Interim CEO
Laura Christian is not new to DISCOVERY — she’s been one of our most dedicated champions for more than 13 years.
Most recently serving as Vice President of Learning Experiences, Laura has spent over a decade shaping the educational heart of our museum. She’s led the teams and programs that bring DISCOVERY’s mission to life for children and families across Southern Nevada every single day. Her deep institutional knowledge, her relationships with our staff and community, and her genuine passion for the work make her the ideal person to lead DISCOVERY through this season of growth.
Laura stepped into the Interim CEO role on July 1, 2026, and we are so grateful to have her at the helm.

Troy Moser
Board Chair
Few people have given more of themselves to DISCOVERY than Troy Moser — and that’s saying something, because his commitment spans nearly three decades.
Troy first joined DISCOVERY’s Board of Trustees in 1997, making him our longest-serving volunteer leader. Over the years, he has served on numerous committees, received the prestigious Vegas Inc Angel Awards Volunteer of the Year recognition in 2024, and given generously alongside his wife Jill to support the museum’s mission. Professionally, Troy is the founder of MOSER Architecture Studio and a former President of AIA Las Vegas — bringing both design expertise and deep community leadership to everything he does.
As the new Board Chair, Troy will work closely with Laura and the Board of Trustees to guide DISCOVERY’s strategic direction.

Cindy Goussak
Vice President of Development and Marketing
Cindy Goussak brings an extraordinary combination of nonprofit leadership, community connection, and mission-driven passion to her new role as Vice President of Development and Marketing.
A Las Vegas community leader with deep roots in Southern Nevada, Cindy is perhaps best known for co-founding Collaboration Center, a nonprofit dedicated to serving individuals with developmental and learning differences — work that speaks directly to the values DISCOVERY holds at its core. She holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and brings the kind of leadership experience that will elevate our development and marketing efforts in meaningful ways.
We are beyond excited to welcome Cindy to the DISCOVERY family.

A Bright Chapter Ahead
Together, Laura, Troy, and Cindy represent the best of what DISCOVERY is — and everything we’re becoming. Their combined experience, passion for community, and commitment to children’s education make us incredibly optimistic about the road ahead.
