First Responders Day

Celebrate our community heroes at First Responders Day at DISCOVERY Children’s Museum in Las Vegas on Saturday, October 24, from 10 AM to 5 PM. Kids and families can explore real emergency vehicles and equipment, learn fire and safety tips, discover first responder careers, and join hands-on activities like making a badge, decorating a first responder hat, and building an x-ray model. Special presentations include an interactive read aloud, a fire safety science demo, “Doctor, Doctor!” medical careers, and the “Let’s Save the World” puppet show. Meet community partners from Las Vegas Metro Police Department, City of Las Vegas Fire & Rescue, and Red Rock Search & Rescue.
